Seminars

The church congregation, as an entity operates in a regulated environment of by-laws and statutes. From time to time, these laws get amended and may affect the administration of the local congregation. Our seminars aims to:

1. Make church leaders aware of the laws affecting the church congregation environment,

2. Give an overview on the difference between a voluntary organisation, legal entity and trust, of which church can be incorporated,

3. Explain the process of registering church congregations,

4. Explain the content of a founding and governance documents.

Ministry Planning - Workshops 

To function as a collective, all board members needs to be tied to a common purpose. Acts 20:28 talks about guarding the flock. To do that, the board must have a 'horison-scanning' view over the flock. These workshops comprises of the following:

1. Help develop or review the congregation's purpose, mission and core beliefs.

2. Developing a ministry plan to give effect to the mission.

3. Develop a frame work to oversee and monitor ministry activities.

4. Ensuring that God's work is done and to account when needed.

Congregational Secretarial Services

1. Developing board documents, including constitutions, MOI and board charters.

2. Registering churches on CIPC as Non Profit Companies and as NPOs at the Department of Social Development.

3. Affecting changes at CIPC.

4. Filing annual returns at CIPC.

5. Board coaching.
